UNB and SMU advance to Semifinal Saturday

In the early Quarterfinal, the UPEI Panthers and SMU Huskies squared off in a low-scoring affair where both teams struggled to generate much offence.

SMU jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, though the Panthers managed to keep it close throughout. 

SMU moves on to the 2pm Semifinal on Saturday November 2nd vs. #1 seed Dalhousie!

In the late Quarterfinal, the UNB Reds managed to silence the Mounties, putting 19 goals on the board before the final whistle. The Mounties, hosting the MUFLL Championship weekend for the first time showed promising flashes throughout, but they ultimately did not have the depth to keep up with UNB.

UNB moves on to the 4pm Semifinal on Saturday vs. #2 seed STFX.
