Saint Mary's Huskies Are Victorious!
The rain broke just as the final game started and in a hard fought final, SMU Huskies won their first MUFLL Championship by a score of 11 to 9 over two time winners and weekend host, Dalhousie Tigers. Congratulations to the Huskies on their breakthrough season!
The wet weekend on Wickwire Field did not dampen the enthusiasm of the fans who were treated to some great lacrosse action on the field. Game MVP's for the Championship game were offensively, Dustin Nadeau and defensively, Tom Allen for the Dal Tigers. For the SMU Huskies, Tyler Leeming was offensive MVP and Jon Goguen defensive MVP.
