MUFLL announces Championship Weekend host site for 10th Anniversary season
(HALIFAX, N.S.) The Maritime University Field Lacrosse League (MUFLL) is pleased to announce Dalhousie University and its lacrosse team will host the 10th annual MUFLL Championship Weekend November 7th-9th, 2014 on campus in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
“It is exciting for our league that we are celebrating our 10th Anniversary season. Welcoming University of New Brunswick Buccaneers back into the league this year raises the profile of our League in the Maritimes,” MUFLL commissioner Donna Goguen said.
This will be the three-time defending champion Tigers’ second time hosting Championship Weekend (2010).
"The Tigers are excited about the opportunity to showcase Dalhousie's hospitality and school spirit while hosting MUFLL's 10th anniversary Championship Weekend,” says Dal lacrosse coach Connor DuBreuil.
“The field lacrosse game is growing and having our League provide an elite level of play to inspire more participation in this great game gives all our teams a sense of pride,” Goguen added.
All games will take place on campus at Dal’s Wickwire Field.
Note: Gate fee for all games is $5 for adults and $2 for students.

Saturday, November 8 Game #1 Semi-Final 1st Place v Winner 4v5 - 6:30pm Game #2 Semi-Final 2nd Place v Winner 3v6- 8:45pm
Sunday, November 9 University Female Lacrosse Exhibition Game - 12pm
MUFLL Championship Final - 2pm
