Try Lacrosse-Field

August 26, 2010 (Halifax, NS).  This Saturday, August 28^th, youth in the HRM have the opportunity to come out to the Wanderer’s Ground Field in Halifax and try Canada’s National Summer Sport, Field Lacrosse, free of cost.  The event will run from 10:00am until noon and is open to males and females ages 8 and up.   It is put on by Lacrosse Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Field Lacrosse League whose season starts Friday September 17^th.  The league is run out of the Dartmouth Burnside Turf fields and includes co-ed  and female only categories for those ages 8 and up.  More information about Saturday’s free session can be found at www.trylacrosse.ca.
