MUFLL Championship Weekend 2015 Semi Final #2 Preview #2 STFX v #3 Acadia

Semi Final #2 tonight pits the host and #2 STFX X-Men versus the #3 Acadia Axemen at 8pm.

Both teams split their regular season series, with STFX winning in Antigonish Oct. 26th 15-14 and Acadia winning in Wolfville Nov. 1st 17-10.

STFX recieved a bye into tonight's semi as the second overall seed.

Zach Leblac leads the X-Men with a 11.10 GAA in nets.

Also leading STFX in points on the year are: Ian McShane with 67 points (42 goals, 25 assists), Jimmy Shea 50pts (38,12), Connor Clarkson 36pts (21,15) and Scott Arlidge had 20pts (18,2).

Acadia defeated the Mount A Mounties 22-3 last night in their quarter final match-up.

Acadia rookie Errol Spring leads the Axemen in nets with a 8.30 GAA.

Leading Acadia in points on the year are: Gavin Quigley 43pts (34,9), John MacDonald 33pts (10,23), Luke Byrne 29pts (27,2), Chris Clifford 23pts (22,1), Robbie Grant 23pts (18,5), Charlie Clary 12pts (12,0), and Matt Kivell 10pts (7,3).

The MUFLL Championship Weekend 2015 Final is 2pm Sunday November 8th.
